Emergency Contact Numbers

Phone_1  Sea Base office telephone number for questions is 305-664-4173.  The emergency number is 305-664-7766.  Neither of these are for the contact of a crew member unless in an absolute emergency.

We'll give copies of the crew roster to parents at the airport so that everyone has all the information regarding our adventure in the event emergency contact is necessary.

Fishing and Snorkeling

Lobsterc_1 I know some people will want to fish and snorkel, so you may want to download this fish identification guide.  We'll be there during the mini-lobster season too -- yum, yum!     Download fish_id.ppt

Sea Base Duty to God Award

Rockw14 Hi -- I'm going to work on this award while at Sea Base -- though work is probably too strong a word.  We'll need a Chaplain's Aide to help us keep track.  This award is really just a small reminder of a Scout's duty to be reverent.

Our Crew

Our crew is made up of Scouts, Venturers and adult leaders from the National Capital Area Council -- which spans Northern Virginia, DC, the Maryland Suburbs and Southern Maryland.  NCAC has sponsored Sea Base council trips for several years.

Sail We're headed to the Florida Keys and will board an 83 foot gaffe-rigged schooner for a week.  I'm looking forward to it since I have an '87 27 foot Hunter, and I've wanted to learn to sail larger boats.
